01 / Tuning methodology

Baseline first.
Correction second.

Enter the values shown by FH6 for the car in its current build. SaintSpec creates the complete baseline before applying a focused adjustment to the handling issue you select.

Target Character describes what you want. Current Handling Issue describes what the car is doing now. Keep those two inputs separate for a useful diagnosis.

    01

    Run the baseline

Test several representative corners before changing anything.

    02

    Name the phase

Separate entry, mid-corner, exit, high-speed, and bump behavior.

    03

    Change one group

Apply one correction group, repeat the route, then compare.

    About SaintSpec v0.2

Version 0.2 separates the baseline from the correction layer. Springs follow axle load and slider ranges, damping follows spring position and surface, aero follows track speed, and handling fixes are applied only to the corner phase where the symptom occurs.

All constants remain editable in data/formulas.json. No third-party source code, DLL, extracted vehicle database, or proprietary web assets are included.

Accuracy status: improved research model. Validate it in FH6, change one setting group at a time, and use telemetry or Mechanical Balance when available.
